Logitech G35 Headphones

Postby Commander_Q on Thu Jul 29, 2010 12:42 pm

Hi Guys
:getsome:
I received this week a new headset after breaking my Medusa 5.1 headphones in a fit of rage whereby the swing arms snap and become weak. The replacement headset is the Logitech G35 http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/gaming/headsets/devices/5095 and what a difference in sound quality. The game now along with the explosions takes on a new dimension. Everything is so much clearer and they fit really well, although they do take a little bit of getting used to.

In addition to this they work with a PS3 out of the box and even music audio sounds better, they also seem to cut out ambient sound with a really immersive feeling.

So now I have a G15 keyboard and G35 headset.

The only downside is the price £70-£110 depending on where you buy.

Just thought I'd offer some advice for anyone who requires good headphones.

TTFN

cant train tonight with ts as my cable snaped on mike/headphone. just orderd 1 off the above post £99.99 from play.com.

ps I always get up from my chair for a drink and forget my headset, therefore ive snaped 3 up to now, but they were cheap ones so if i break this one I will be comeing after commander for tempting me to get my cash from under the mattress.

I've had two pair of Medusa both have snapped and are useless. These new headphones are built to a much better standard, I paid about £70 with shipping. The cable is also a braided type and much tougher than Medusa and are a much better fit around the ear. With a single volume control on the headset the problem whereby Medusa has 4-5 volume buttons, eliminates the need to constantly adjust the surround volumes.

I would give them 9/10 but for the price.

nice headphones, too bad its not really 7.1 or 5.1, its USB generated, which sucks for real surround, Ive had them before.

I had Medusa too, and broke them like you, now I use Razor Baracuda, excellent
